General Comments and Most Asked Questions

Question: Can I bring some decorations?
Answer: Yes, but you must clear the type and how to place it with GMP manager prior to the party date.

Question: Can I bring cakes and drinks?
Answer: No to the drinks of any kind, but you can bring the cake.

Question: What if I need to cancel my party?
Answer: You may cancel your party but the deposit is non-refundable. In some cases, fully paid rental fees may not be refundable as well. If Gukundi Multiplex is catering your event, you may still cancel, but the 50% down payment is non-refundable.

Question: Are there any deposits required?
Answer: Yes, deposits are now required.

Question: What if I booked a dinner party for 100 people and only 50 people showed up? Would GMP require an RSVP confirmation of number of people coming?
Answer: If you book a party for 100 people, and the party includes catering through Gukundi Multiplex, you will still be charged for 100 people. If you book a party for 100 and more show up or you end up with 100 plus, Gukundi Mulitplex will charge additional fees per person over 100. Gukundi Multiplex absolutely requires a minimum of 5 business day’s of confirmation of the actual number of people that would be attending your party.

Question: Can I bring outside musicians, such as violinist, pianist, string quartet, DJ, a rock band, an MP3, a lap top, a DVD or CD..?
Answer: Our facility is fully equipped with the state of the art sound and lighting equipment. All listed above are welcome, as long we were notified at the time of the booking and the entertainer is brought to the facility to discuss his or her needs with us at least 3 days prior to the date of event.

Question: Can we use your kitchen or have outside caterers prepared food in your kitchen?
Answer: No, we do not allow outsiders to prepare food in our facility and outside caterers must bring their own china and silver ware.
Payment must be made on the day of the event, we do not bill. All payments must be in the form of debit card, credit cards, bank certified check or cash. No personal check please. However, we do accept certain types of company checks as long as the bank is local.
